Exploring Jaipur!
Early this year I decided to go on a road trip to Jaipur with my school friends. Jaipur seemed to be the best place to travel during January since we wanted to get relief from the winter chills of Delhi.
Jaipur, popularly known as the “Pink City”, and “Paris of India”, is the capital of Rajasthan state, India. Located about 270 km from Delhi, Jaipur is worldwide famous for unique Architecture, Vastu, Astrology, Forts, Monuments, Palaces, Art and Craft, Culture, and last but not least for unique Food.
In our 3 day trip we covered all the best places one must check in when in Jaipur.
Here is the glimpse of my visit.

Amer Fort was our first stop en route to Jaipur. Situated at a distance of about 11 kilometers from Jaipur, Amer Fort (or Amber Fort) was built 1592 by Raja Mann Singh I. A blend of traditional Hindu and Rajputana architecture, the fort has been aesthetically designed out of marble and red sandstone.

Next stop was at Spice Court, one of the best food places to enjoy authentic traditional mutton . Spice Court offers everything from Indian to Chinese to Continental. Located in a posh colony, it is known for its culinary delights, ambiance and extreme hospitality. If you are planning to stop by don’t miss out on Keema Balti, Maas ka Sula & Junglee maas.

Happy us after delicious mean at Spice Court
If you love hanging out at night, there are few really good places which you can visit in Jaipur. I visited the terrace lounge – Ta Blu at Hotel Clarks Amer.

I must say Jaipur is one of the most beautiful semi metro cities I have visited in a long time. I am all game for my next trip soon to explore more.
Cheers!
